Heritage Fair Judges Wanted!
Heritage Fair Judges volunteer their time to review project displays, interview students about their research, and nominate projects for special awards.

Working in pairs, judges are assigned about ten projects to assess in two phases. 

  1. First, judges review projects without students present.
  2. Then, judges interview students about their projects. 
Training is provided during Orientation.

Required time commitment
Orientation: Wednesday, April 17, 6:30–8:00 p.m.
Project Review: Thursday, May 9, 5:30–7:30 p.m.
Student Interviews: Friday, May 10, 8:30 a.m.–3:30 p.m.

Assessment Rubric
A rubric is used to assess Heritage Fair projects at the Richmond Regional Heritage Fair. It is available in English or in FrenchThe rubric also includes interview questions.
